Overview

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist you will be responsible for full cycle recruitment for TDS talent. As part of a highly effective team, this position will develop and execute strategies to source, attract, and onboard high quality talent for contact center, consumer sales, administrative and professional positions nationwide. It will consult with assigned business partners throughout the hiring process and maintain appropriate documentation.

The pay range listed for this position represents the low and high end of the base compensation range. The actual offer amount will carefully consider multiple factors, such as relevant skills, qualifications, work experience, location and/or competencies that align with the specified role. Certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses and equity awards.

This position can be hired at either a Talent Acquisition Specialist (requisition ID #2024-23422), or a Senior Talent Acquisition Specialist (requisition ID #2024-23423) level, depending on the skills and qualifications of the candidate. Different job postings exist for each of these positions. Responsibilities

Responsible for full cycle recruiting for contact center, sales, administrative and professional positions nationwide, as assigned. Develops and maintains a close relationship with hiring managers, to fill their staffing needs, understand position requirements and develop specific recruiting plans. Consults with managers regarding recruitment practices, policies, and procedures, within an AAP organization. Partners with managers to update job descriptions and writes effective postings to attract top talent. Consults with hiring manager to develop screening and interview tools to establish criteria and determine qualified candidates. Conducts phone screens and interviews, develops professional rapport with candidates, and recommends top talent to hiring managers. Maintains requisitions and all required information in applicant tracking system (ATS). Performs innovative candidate sourcing including but not limited to: internet recruiting, networking, social media, job fairs, open houses, associate referral programs, college recruiting, print publications, etc. In accordance with Affirmative Action Plan and all applicable EEO, state and federal laws, makes hiring recommendations to hiring manager.

Assists with Recruitment Team projects or processes to support overall talent management attraction, onboarding, and retention.

Attend weekly team meetings and HR quarterly meetings.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

    Bachelors degree (or higher) -OR- 4 years professional work experience.

Other Qualifications

  • 1 years of experience as a full lifecycle recruiter or 6 months internship with TDS in full lifecycle recruiting.
  • 2 years of experience with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Solid understanding of recruitment processes as well as demonstrated sourcing, networking, screening and assessing interviews skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of the selection process and successfully manage a high volume work load.
  • Knowledge of, and demonstrated ability to utilize, multiple recruiting sources. Proven track record of innovative recruiting initiatives and campaigns desired.
  • Must have knowledge of up-to-date Human Resource policies, standard practices; laws and regulations and proposed changes and the ability to apply them consistently
  • Ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with an ability to interact with all levels of staff and applicants.
  • Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Proven ability to work effectively both independently and within a team environment.
  • Experience with SAP and ATS helpful.
  • PHR certification a plus.
  • Must be available for some travel.

Associates scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week have access to medical, dental, vision, life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and paid time off benefits such as vacation (15 days accrued per year for full-time; pro-rated for part-time associates working between 20-39 hours), sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates), seven paid national holidays and one floating holiday, paid parental leave (2 weeks after 12 months of employment), among others. Short Term Disability and Long Term Disability coverage is also available for associates working 30 or more hours per week and Education Assistance is available to full-time associates. Associates scheduled to work under twenty hours per week or for a limited term (i.e. interns) are eligible for medical coverage, the 401(k) plan (if 18 or older), as well as sick leave (10 days accrued per year for full-time and pro-rated for all other associates).
